PLAYING WITH TWITTER API

This is no easy deal! But I've found a couple of scripts which runs both ways: enables me to post to Twitter from this website, and read the latest tweet. The latter, however, seems a bit slow, but could be due to some API restrictions. The reason for all this "playing", is make the index-page some sort of information/update stream-a-la-Facebook, which lists all changes to my website (new work, blogposts, etc.) and other services I use, i.e. Twitter, Flickr, Google Reader, etc., and make this available through an RSS feed.
